Mini Nether Mod

How to go to the mini Nether?

To go to the Nether you will need one obsidian block and one flint & steel. Tap on the obsidian block with the flint & steel to activate the portal.

Entering the portal can be a little bit tricky. For us it only worked to enter the portal by going into it on the side.

When you enter the portal you will be teleported to a mini version of the Nether. In the Nether you will find an environment made mostly out of netherrack, quartz, lava and scary pigmen.

There are tons of mobs to be slain and a few treasures to be obtained. Each generated Nether is differently generated from another so it never gets boring.

To get back to the real world you came from find the little portal room and enter the portal.

Villager Trading Mod

The Villagers Trading Mod implements the existing PC villager trading system to Minecraft Pocket Edition. Even if it’s not as extensive it’s very impressive both in terms of functionality and the graphical user interface.

From now on your emeralds will have a beneficial use. Walk up to villagers and trade them for items.

ExtendedCraft 3 Mod

Quarry

To build a quarry structure you will need a Quarry block (ID: 192) which currently only can be obtained through the use of Too Many Items. You will also need a chest to store all the mined blocks and ores.

Place down the quarry block on preferably a flat surface and place a chest on the left side.

Tap on the quarry block to open the quarry interface menu. Press Start to activate the structure to start being created and exit the interface.

Slowly the quarry structure will be generated. You don’t need to place any of the pipes as it’s all done automatically.

All mined blocks (besides dirt) will be placed in the chest.

Mech Mod

The Mech Mod is the most advanced vehicles mod for Minecraft Pocket Edition. It adds five vehicles to the game. Everything from a fast red car to a Britsh fighter aircraft which can drop bombs. The vehicle models are breathtaking and the user experience is fantastic.

How to use the vehicles?

All vehicles can be crafted (see crafting recipes further down). Place down the vehicle by tapping with the vehicle item on the ground.

Get the keys item and tap with it on the vehicle to enter it. Before being able to control the vehicle you will need to fill it up with some fuel with a fuel can.

X-Ray Mod

How does it work?

After you’ve installed the mod and entered a world a new button will appear in the bottom-right of the screen. If you are on a tablet it might not be fully visible, but you should still be able to tap on it.

Select XRay and the type of blocks you want to detect. In this example we chose to detect diamond ores.

Exit the menu and go to your Minecraft options and toggle Fancy Graphics on if it isn’t already on.

Now you will be able to see through blocks and detect diamond ores, underground tunnels and much more.

Advanced Swords Mod

The Advanced Swords Mod adds more than hundred different swords all with their own unique abilities, crafting recipes and super cool textures. A lot of the time in Minecraft goes to fighting mobs, at least if you are in survival mode, so why not upgrade and access a hundred more swords to optimize the fun further.

Getting Started

There are over a hundred different swords all worth testing. Because of the extreme amount we can’t show you them all but you can find all the crafting recipes further down.

There are two types of new storage items: a quiver and a sword holder. They can be used to hold up to 6 stacks of arrows and 5 swords. Tap on the ground with the quiver or sword holder to open the inventory.

Spaniel: Three Villages in Three Minutes

The spawn is in front of the first sand village. The village got a couple of houses and a few farms. To get to the other two villages turn to your left and walk or fly in that direction for 1-3 minutes and you will get to the two other villages. They aren’t a double village but they are just 20-30 blocks apart so they aren’t hard to find.

Neither of the villages got any blacksmiths but they provide great shelter and food resources for starting out in a new survival world. The farms got enough vegetables to survive for many nights ahead and the houses provide some comfort for surviving the night. And let’s not forget about the villagers who can be nice to chat with, even if their language is hard to understand.
